Answer:
if you want to delete the startup items then follow these process. They are just shortcuts and deleting these items doesn't effect the program installed to delete one by one. 1. click start button 2. click programs 3. click startup 4. right click on the program icon which program shortcut you want to delete 5. click on delete 6. click on delete shortcut. 7. repeat this for as many items you want to delete to delete all at once 1. open computer (clicking destop computer icon or from run) 2. double click the root drive where the operating system is installed (basically c: drive) 3. double click document and settings 4. double click your username or all users 5. double click start menu 6. double click programs 7. double click startup 8. select the program icons you want to delete and then press delete on keyboard or right click and click delete. i have mentioned here " your username or all users" because some programs are not installed on all users so they might be inside the "your username" startup items. raulstha http://lovelybabes.blogspot.com http://increaseyoursitetraffic.blogspot.com

go to this web site: http://www.snapfiles.com go to the freeware section then look for startup managers here you will find many programs that you can download that can manage you startup process, you can decide which programs you want to start at which time suck as QuickStart Up or StartRight
You need to unistall the program from add/remove programs option under the control panel menu. If the program is not listed in there than it is just a hanging shortcut doing nothing in your start up menu in which all you have to do is delete the shortcut by hovering over it , then right clicking, then delete it. If the program does show up in your add/remove programs list via control panel then select "remove" and uninstall it, then delete any hanging shortcuts in the menu once again.

just delete the program that you dont want to have running otherwise you will just have to shut it off through msconfig . other thing you can try is running a start up manager any of them should work for you and have it delete the entry for the program . Good Luck

They're in the registry... I'd love to help more, but if that's not enough information to get you where you need to be then you really shouldn't be messing around in the registry.
