Access blocked for few sites.....how to bypass...?

for torrents you can use proxies too but that had very varied results for me. After 30 weeks behind a University firewall I only managed to download 50GBish of stuff, and this was leaving my computer on 24/7. If you;re willing to spend money you could try hiring a seedbox, which is basically a sever that seeds and downloads for you and you direct download from the server (firewall can;t block that because you can use a proxy). Alternatively you could try purchasing a VPN service like BTguard but this will likely attract alot of attention from your University's IT department. Good luck ^_^ Edit: if you are going to be stuck with this firewall for a while it might be worth considering setting up your own private proxy server + seedbox. You can get a virtual host for $/£/€20 a month and theer are guides out there for how to set these things up. You can use tor, ultrasurf, or if you need to encrypt torrent traffic use BTGuard they have a 6 dollar and 9 dollar a month option. I love BTGuard

for websites, use firefox and foxyproxy. get ip from hidemyass. or if your doing this on a locked school computer, search google for camolist and when the page loads click on the latest proxy. for torrents. your out of luck, it's pritty much impossible to get torrents working through sonicwall.
