    If you are looking for 'easy money', you are SOL unless you ask a rich uncle. It takes lots of work to even look for scholarships and grants. Other than that, ask at school if you can get a job at school, during current semester or even between schools semesters/quarters. Loans are a 'last ditch' and keep the loans to as little as possible. Unlike the loan officers and some colleges want you to believe, it is not 'free money' and it is hard to pay back. Educational loans are becoming a burden for graduates and at times, their parents. We were lucky enough (wife and I) to have our parents pay for our college (yes, I worked too to help out) but my kids got enough scholarships and grants to make it so we could pay for the rest of their expenses. ... They job was getting grades and graduating, rather than making $$ while in school. But that was our philosophy, not everyone's. Best of luck.
