  With your budget, you'll be lucky to get a decent gun. Snipers. A favorite of many. Tried an TSD M14 SOCOM sniper before. It's good, but it's spring. If you are looking toward spring, this might be yours. Cheap, about $30? Mini Electrics. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. If you plan to airsoft (with others, I mean), mini electric guns will literally mark you as an easy target. They work on AAA batteries (meaning battery life will be extremely short), they are built with all plastic (bad because decent guns are made of metal, at least the gearboxes in some mid-range airsoft guns) and aren't built for CQB or Field Combat, but for target practice and small backyard games. They are not built to scale with real firearms, so this is a turn-off for many players. Spring pistols. They are a great gun to begin with. I recommend the M92FS from UHC. Unicorn Hobby Company sells great spring pistols for less than $20. Of course, if you choose to buy the sniper, this is a decent backup gun.
