What plastic or live bait should i use for fishing bass and trout in the yakima river?

    for bass fishing, you really want a small spinnerbait. they work the best for me. also curly tailed grubs which you can buy for like $2(but buy big ones). Now if youre trout fishing, you should get rooster tails. The trout love the color and all you really have to do is let the cuurent of the river or stream move the bait. have fun!

I'm not too familiar with trout but I know for bass they will eat pretty much anything. If you can get your hands on shinners you will get a bass pretty much 100% a big bass. Trout I'm sure they will eat brim or whiners as well. But for plastic bait I'd say any type of lizard or shad would be good or a top water big foot skunk frog they love those. Hope I helped!
