How do I fish with floating salmon eggs?

    worms will work much better. fish them either with a float or with a small weight in lakes. in a river, use just one or two split shot for weight. the least amount you can get by with so you don't constantly get hung on the bottom. also try artificials such as small spoons and spinners. these will probably work better than any bait.

well maybe its just cuz of the wters current its to fast and u just need to put a sinker 1-2 feet up the line, i HATE using fake slmon eggs they NEVER had worked for me real salmon eggs is another story tho and salmon eggs are also the best used in ice fishing for perch and crappie and nice bluegill but yah i think u should just use worms instead of salmon eggs with a bober and a split shot in the calmer waters

Hook 2 or 3 and just float them. You are trying to replicate what real eggs would look like going downstream.
