How to unclog a shower drain?

I'd recommend using a drain cleaner like Draino. Make sure you follow the directions on the product. I'd definitely be wearing a pair of good quality long cuffed rubber gloves and some safety goggles too.

first thing i would try is a plunger.....push it down to get a nice seal...then yank it up real fast...... if the shower got backed up from using another sink or toilet then u will need to call a plumber

Caustic Soda is good. The best way it to put it down the drain before you go to bed, that way it can work over night, and you can use the shower in the morning. Otherwise it may burn your feet! Make sure it doesn't touch your skin, because it really can really burn!

you can try your store bought drain cleaners, i personally dont know of anything you could make from at home products. still need to use gloves, if that dont work then you probably should call a plumber

A piece of plastic about 3 feet long that has a handle on one end with backward facing barbs down the length of it might work to pull out what ever is clogging it and is available in most department stores. Also a 'drain snake' can be purchased from most hardware stores.

Hmmmm my dad uses a special chemical for that ...You can get it at any store or supermarket. I don't remember the name but you can just ask for it and use it carefully since it can hurt your skin. Rea the instructions and use gloves.
