Where can I get free moving boxes?

Where can I get free or atleast cheap moving boxes? I'm in San Diego Ca?

  • I'm moving on August first and really need cheap or free moving boxes. I only have a one bedroom so 15 or 20 boxes will suffice. Thanks a bunch I really need to start packing.

Try grocery stores and pharmacy usually after 'truck days' when they get their inventory and merchandise for the week they have alot of leftover boxes....talk to an employee usually at my store we will goto the backroom and get as many boxes as we have.

Are you a regular customer at a neighborhood market or drug store? Perhaps they will save boxes for you ~ this is where I usually get mine.

try going to a hobby lobby. Just ask for a lot of boxes and if they just got a shipment they will send you around the back and unload them for you

Go to your local liquor store and ask if they have any boxes to spare. They usually have lots of them.
