Do u find living in the UK hard?

Im from Britain and I cant even find a job on minimum wage or get any benefits.

Its hard because we are the only country that rewards the lazy and screw the hard working man and weomen,more you work more you pay.

even though im english i like many other english people find it hard to live i take home£230 a week i have a mortgage so my wife has to work too so your not the only one finding it hard welcome to capitalism and money grabbing

Yes, i have found good numeracy and literacy skills, basic computer skills - all the things employers CLAIM to want; i have, but don't get very far at all with in the UK. There is a bias towards dumb shite degree holders (and unskilled foreigners). Why would one need a degree, for example, to man phones, do basic data entry, sip coffee, glad hand people in person or otherwise etc.; which is what most office workers actually do?

If you are as hard-up as you say you are, why don't you receive benefits? Have you applied for any?

Wow you guys--Brits--I have never been to England. But, I know the unemployement is lower than in the USA and the standard of living just recently passed the USA-- I don't know why you guys are complaining so much. Accept for the "FREE" medical care--I understand that the law requires hospitals to treat patients--once they arrive at a hospital within four hours--so the hospitals just keep people in the AMBULANCES until they can handle them that way they don't have to start the clock until they actually get INSIDE the hospital! Sounds like a loads of fun.-- Plus--England has GUN CONTROL! sounds like UTOPIA for liberals--not that criminals care about GUN laws.

Oops, i am mexican (i live in tijuana, Baja California, Mexico) and i have the same problems finding a good job here, i was thinking to emigrate, but its the same everywhere, what is happening?
