What places to visit near Frankfurt, Germany?

Aparently there are two Frankfurts in Germany, according to my Grandparents. One in the east and one in the west. Or take the train over to Mainz and see the museums including the Gutenberg museum. You might spend one of your extra days in Frankfurt enjoying the museums, roman excavation in the city , river cruise , and restaurants. Frankfurt also has a new mall which locals call the Vortex located on the Zeil. You can go up in the Zeilgalerie to the Dachcafe and look out over the city. Frankfurt also has a good zoo and a nice botanical garden (The Palmengarten). If that doesn't keep you busy for 2 days, then pick a day trip out of the city for your second day.
