    If flash ads reduce the functionality of the web site then I feel no qualms about blocking the ads. Sites that are ad based should either use static ads or at least use a animated ad that doesn't make the web site unusable. There are flash blockers and general ad blockers available. Just search on the web. I always use a flash blocker. My blocker allows me to allow flash on sites where I want to use it. Playing "ad roulette" by reloading the site until you get a less annoying ad is one workaround. Playing scrabble on Pogo is a better solution.
