Are you asking how you draw well without reference? Because if so, I'm afraid that comes with hard work and practice. There are some exercises you can use to help you. - Draw something with reference. Don't get too fussy with the details, just do a quick sketch (allow yourself 30 seconds to 5 minutes to draw it, I know that doesn't seem like long, but it won't work if you take 30 minutes). Now hide the reference, and redraw it. Don't cheat! By doing this, you're actively using your imagination and the memory of your muscle movements should still be fresh in your mind. If you do this even one or two times, you'll find that later, you can draw it pretty accurately without having the reference near you at all (well, more accurately than if you hadn't drawn it at all before haha). - Look at a picture for 30 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on your patience. Look carefully at each line, even trace the picture with your finger or pencil but DON'T draw it. Then hide the reference and try to copy it. With this, you're using just your memory and imagination. Again, don't cheat! - When you're drawing things, try to come up with patterns to follow. For example, if you're drawing a human figure, instead of drawing the figure perfectly in one go, try to draw the figure if they were made up of basic shapes; a circle for the head, a square for the body, and so on. Then from there, refine the figure: make the circle more skull-shaped, make the square more curvy. And then finish it off. You might even want to trace the picture but instead of drawing the actual lines, try to draw shapes that correspond to the shapes of the reference. This is so that later, when you're trying to understand how this figure works in different ways, and the different shapes it makes when under different strains. Good luck :]

Sounds to me like your having a creative problem. Maybe you are just having a hard time getting inspired. When this happens to me I try to get outside to a quite place and just think....this usually helps me see what my next project will be. Don't know that this will help you but give it a try....or try being around things or people who inspire you the most. Take notes if you have to and then go back and try and put something together!!!!

well i think you have the opposite one like me :p you can try daydreaming or looking at an image for quite a while and then start to imagine it slowly on your head. you can start from like, maybe the structure, or the minor details that you've observed. if youre looking for an original 'head image', the you could try remembering things and just give colour. i usually do that:) hope this helps oh! and try combining the images you've imagined with vivid colours. it gives a better taste :D hope this helps
