How to make a picture look like a drawing?

I'm trying to make my drawing look like the actualy picture. Help!?

    My art teacher taought me some important things, First, to make things seem realistic you need to make them darker. Think of things drawn from black..not from white(paper) also per portions. if you draw a grid on the original then on a plain piece of paper, make the plain piece of paper match what each square in the grid looks like. :D happy drawing

For a beginner,yor magnificent!! I would reccomend making it dark around the eyes where the eyeliner is and maybe shade the lips a little. Also,make more hair and let it be more wild than you have it and then you'll have a brand new Brendon Urie II !!!!

CONTRAST SHADOWS HIGHLIGHTS Contrast is a huge part of what makes a picture 'pop'. It's also what you need. Also, draw what you SEE, not what you think you see.

Little darker on the eyes, thin the face a bit. Other than that you just about have it. Not a bad job for a beginer.
