What is the best way to get over fear of spiders?

Is getting a tarantula a good way to get rid of fear of spiders?

    Did not work for me. I have had a fear of spiders for as long as I can remember. When my son was about 9 years old he begged and begged for a tarantula. I finally went to a pet store and eventually after several visits and working with the same knowledgeable salesperson got up the nerve to allow the creature walk on my arm. I ended up buying one along with a terrarium for it. We had it for several months and after my son lost interest and did not continue to care for it as needed keeping it healthy and fed became my responsibility. The poor thing died and I am still very afraid of any of those creepy crawlies. Don't know what to tell you.

No way! It's common to fear spiders ! Like me I hate spiders but never run away from your fears ! I bet you hear that alot! Just don't run just kill them ! c: if you want get the pet but I don't think you would face your fears like that ! And if you are going to buy it ask yourself : " I'm actually going to let it crawl on me and I'll take care of it" . Because if you buy it and you end up killing it because you are afraid of it, it's just a waste of money... I hope this helped!
