How do I get "spell-check" to work properly?

How do I hook up my denon AVR 587 to my toshiba dlp to get the HDMI to work properly?

well HDMI is for your tv-dvd/cable connection. you would need to go into your settings on wichever device your using and under audio select HDMI sound to on. but the best thing to do is buy a fibre optics cable and that will give you the full digital surround sound.

I run into this problem in my installs as well. As many of my clients like it to be easy to operate, I will often use component video to the receiver and HDMI to the video monitor. This seemed to clear up the hand-shaking issues the HDMI on both sides seems to have. I'm not sure what's involved in HDMI v1.3 but hopefully it will clear that problem up. Generally this solution will pass 1080i with no problems but if you're going to be utilizing 1080p from an HDDVD or BluRay player you will need to go directly to the monitor and rout e the audio separately as mentioned above. Also make sure that you've got all the appropriate audio cable hooked up. I usually run both the analog and digital audio cables to the receiver. Also be sure that all of the relevant HDMI functions are properly set up in the receiver.
