    The picture quality will vary based on the iPads current available bandwidth. You can sling HD video all over the place, even on 3G and 4G mobile service. The receiver will just adjust the resolution to whatever is the highest capable quality at the time. If you are home with a blazing fast internet connection and a nice healthy N router, it should look awesome in 720p. CobMan15... I haven't seen or used the actual application for the iPad but when using our Remote Access service, it gives me the option of the quality of the picture (Good, Better, Best) I can view. Normally it should down convert the feed to what your device can handle. I hope this helps. Ray Calo DISH Network
