I have just brought A LG DTR389H dvd recorder,whats wrong?

I brought it to record one channel whilst watching another but while its recording I cannot change channel on the TV. Is there a fault or have brought the wrong model? My TV is a ...show more

i do believe its a single tuner / no faults with your lg , can only use one channel at a time
