    i want to answer your question shortly : if you want to print less than 100 to 300 (according to printer) sheets per month and you want to print some color you'd better buy ink jet but if you are in an office and and want to print 500 to 800 or higher per month you should buy laser jet.because first :laser jet is more expensive than ink jet second cartridge is cheaper third :you can print 1000 to 1500 page per toner and 300 too 500 with cartage.

Laser printers are more expensive than inkjet. Laser printers use Toner and Inkjet uses ink cartdiges. Both toner and ink cartridges are expensive. Basically, the cost of replacing toners & inkcartidges are more or less the same. However laser printers are more cost effective because they could print far more pages than inkjet printers. Before its toner runs out, hundreds, if not thousands of pages can be printed. While an inkjet printer runs out of ink after a few hundred pages, even less if you use it to print full color graphics.
