Why is my computer screen pink?

My laptop screen stopped working so i attached it to a desktop screen. Now the desktop screen is pink, I have tried playing with contrast and brightness but it remained very pink. ...show more

some times when the monitor gets older it starts to diteriate i had a monitor that went yellow and u had to hit it to come back to original color

it seems to be hardware problem. when some components like capacitors isnt working then such color change problems occur

you will probably find it is the cable connection. Just with it a wiggle to prove it.
