Computer monitor problem?

    Is it a problem with the 'Standby' setting? You don't say whether this happens while you are working on the computer or whether it has been left for any time. The significant factor (from your information) appears to be Windows. I'd start by looking in My Computer Properties and (although my work one doesn't show it) there is a 'Power saving' option. But one of the tabs has Hibernate or standby - that causes loads of problems.

Hey, I don't know what Type of monitor you have, but it's maybe defect or it installed something to your screen menu or the VGA plug isn't inserted correctly. This happened a few times to me. If you don't want to buy a new screen, then just try resetting it, if you can, or go to a mecanichal man. I don't know if this is gonna work, but IT SHOULD!
