How do I view hidden files on my Hard Drive?

How can I view hidden files when my computer have no Folder Option in the Tools section?

i want to view hidden files from my thumb drive/pendrive/flash drive or anything u call it.. from all the question resolved that i've read here i get it that i have to go to tools ...show more

Generally, when a folder opens that has the hidden files, you should get a window that says those files are hidden, and you should be able to open them that way. However; you might go into Files, and then to Properties, and you might be able to change it there. Unfortunately, since I have a laptop now that has Vista, it may not help you. If you do open Properties, there may be a selection there where you can unselect Hidden, and then be able to see all of your files. This is something I usually do in Windows Explorer..
