If you like white wine with beef, by all means...drink away. Most sommeliers are now recommending certain Pinot Noirs and other fine reds with many types of fish. And they are the experts. But you are the expert of what you like. Drink what you want without care or concern for others. I do. I never drink white wine, with anything, unless desperate.
