Have you tried adjusting your resolution? Here's how! Windows XP: Go to START and go to CONTROL PANEL. Be sure you are in Classic View (all Control Panel icons are showing). • If not, under Control Panel in the left pane, select Switch to Classic View. • Select Display. In the Display Properties dialog box: • Select the Settings tab. On the Settings tab, under Screen Resolution: • Select a screen resolution value by moving the slider arrow. • Select OK. Windows Vista/7: 1.Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution. 2.Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply. 3.Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution. Windows 7 ( Method 2 ): Right Click on your Desktop, and select screen Resolution. Customize your resolution and click apply/ok! Hope this helps! Good Luck! Comemnt: Not really, modern monitors have the capability of automatically adjusting to your system settings. It will not effect the graphics basically. For the best picture as possible, make sure that your monitor settings are correctly configured, make sure you have the latest updates and driver(s) for your monitor. Plus, you can always adjust your graphics settings. if you do not know how, let me know and I will tell you. Also, what monitor and operating system are you using? the thing about a bigger screen is that you'll be experiencing that alot. most web pages are designed for the typical 1024x768 or1280x1024 resolution, and they are perfect on those displays. A wider display will create those big blank areas on the side and its totally unavoidable. Only a few websites will have content that will adapt to whatever the user's screen width, eliminating the big blank spots. likewise for video, the screen is just way too big. For video if you have a CRT you can decrease the res, it will leave a better picture. with a LCD you'll be stuck wit ha blurry pixelated image either way- decrease display resolution or going full screen on videos.
