  as far as time stamps go, if you set your blackberry to receive date and time information from the network it may fix some of those stamp issues for you....but remember everthing with a blackberry is a push system so things are constantly being redirected to alternate servers to then be pushed to your blackberry so this may be another reason why you have these issues, could be a couple different things I would contact Customer service so they may walk you thru the procedures to fix it as for the general message box if you enter the box and hit settings you can change what kind of notifications will be displayed in this box, like for example you may have missed a call and you have a missed call notification but also a message notification usually in the messages box so you actually have two notifications at once for the same thing...if im correct this is what you are not wanting to happen. so change the notification settings for all email sms and facebook notifications to do not show in this box, or if you wish to just not have to deal with that box just hide the messages box and anytime you enter your email sms and facebook it may resolve the notifications. hope this helps somewhat. best of luck
