How do you feel about Amazon's Sept. 2012 lineup of Kindle tablets having good HW specs and low prices, but Amazon will deliver ads to buyers, and use data mining on the content and ads delivered?
-
Are you comfortable with giving Amazon highly granular data about your reading interests?
-
Answer:
Au contraire, The special offers add value to the overall experience of the device. You'd have to buy one to truly know what I really mean here. That said, Facebook and Google probably hold a frightening amount of data about you, does that stop you from using either of those sites or services offered by them? I don't think so. Imagine what if Facebook or Google offered you discounts on stuff that you'd really buy... isn't that a win.
