Can i use 3d glasses to get a 3d picture on a regular flat screen tv?

I have a flatscreen bravia 50 inch lcd, and I want to see 3d. Can I use 3d classes to see 3d on my tv?

Nope, there are tvs that come with 3d viewing, but the one you have cant. There is a special imaging technique that must be had fin order to use the 3d glasses.

only if you're watching something that displays the old red/blue style 3d could you see it. for any new 3d stuff, you need a 3d capable set.

Right now, with red/green glasses or actively shuttered glasses with a system that works at 30fps. AFAIK, the 3D coming to TV this year will use faster switching to that.
