Can you help me with the Direct TV settings?

I need help either finding the "perfect settings for my new tv or a site i can go to for it?

There is no such thing as an "optimal" setting for a t.v. Just like a car two of the same model could have parts made by different companies inside it. Plus, the best settings for one person or one room aren't necessarily the best for everyone. It's worth it to have it professionally calibrated as it takes into account ambient light in the room. Just be sure to write down the settings in case it's ever reset. Keep in mind all t.v.'s dim over time so every 8 - 10 months you will want to turn each adjustment up 1 notch to keep it looking good.
