i have a new plasma tv but sadly there are no rca out jacks to connect my bose sound system to. can i use a hdmi to rca cable to output the sound to my bose?

Answer:
Your TV has NO HDMI out either, so I am not sure exactly what your plan was! If your sound system has no spdif input, well, it is time to upgrade to a surround system. If you use a set-top box, connect its audio out to the surround system directly.

HDMI to RCA cables to not exist. A cable cannot take an encrypted digital signal and decrypt it and make it analog.
