Suzuki. Renault are currently being sued for their bad craftsmanship on Clios. There have been over 1000 crashes and at least 5 deaths because of a faulty clasp on the bonnet, so the bonnet just flies up when you are driving.

The Suzuki is so unpopular it is hard to sell, well you cannot give it away. I have only been in one once, felt like a dreadful flimsy box. Renault cars dont have much of a reputation, unreliable, expensive to repair. You are right you are both car nuts if you think either of these heaps are much good.
