How do I use my webcam in IM?

I have comcast service, and I use Yahoo IM for voice and webcam. My picture freezes. Upload Problem. Help!!?

i had the same problem with my cam freezing, i found out if i did not have lots of other programs running while i was using my cam, it seems fine, so what i do is close all not needed programs until i finish with the cam
