How I can stop pop up of Yahoo Messenger update for the latest version?

I am using Yahoo messenger vesion 7. I dont want to update to version 8, but when I am sign in, it always pop up the board requires I update the latest version. How I can stop this? ...show more

Use older version like 6, i think it will work cuz im using version 6 and not a update message pops up. I hope this'll help, that is if you want to use older version.

Sorry, but the only way to get that message to go away is by completing the update to the newest version.
