How can I send an automatic message to an applicant to the group?

    That sounds like something that I reported months ago. Scheduled files are still not being sent out when someone joins. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20131029155806AACZGG3 I have a file that is supposed to be sent, but since that doesn't work I included a link to a copy of that file that's in my Dropbox folder, and put a link to download the file in the message at: Management > Control Panel > Notifications in what Yahoo calls their "Welcome message". There's a section below that, that shows the "Scheduled file" that they are supposed to send to new members, but that's what hasn't worked for me for months.

On that point, I just had my first pending approval under Neo. While I'd never set up an automatic message in Classic, I did use the Send Message option either to request more information or send a welcome message before approving or disapproving each applicant. The Send Message option has disappeared. I tried to use Customer Care to get information about this but none of the answers to any of the listed questions, including the defacto none-of-the-above category, mentions this. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it a known issue? Thanks deborah
