Why aren't Youtube comments shown?

Youtube comment format changed?

  • For a week now when i go to youtube, even when im signed in the comments are shown different, either from newest or top comments. It doesn't show how many likes one has or even ...show more

    You cannot change it. This is due to the YouTube - Google+ integration and there is no way of changing or avoiding it. As YouTube is owned by Google they thought it would be a smart move to force every YouTuber to create a Google+ account and use that as a form of social networking. Every comment you post will be posted on your Google+ page where people then can have in depth discussions on. I like the way they have laid out the comments section but hate the Google+ integration and the fact that there is unlimited character limit meaning people are posting huge *** text that has nothing to do with the video, usually a picture of Doge and also links to virus infested porn sites. eh. I'm not really complaining. we'll all get used to it eventually. don't get me wrong, i'm having the same problems too, but we're in a technologically savvy generation.
