Is the Apex 16" Folding Bike a Good Bike?

  • I can't find a lot of information about this bike (http://www.amazon.com/Apex-APEX-16-Folding-Bike/dp/B00594086I). I'd like to buy a bike, mostly for biking on a paved trail. ...show more

My recommendation: (Also searching for answers brandname) 16" is practical for what I need. The entire bike looks sturdy... 6 speed is perfect, rear, front brakes. For the price its being sold, steel frame, alloy wheels, handlebar, you cant beat it. A dahon would be nice also for @$200US. 28lbs/12kg (this better be true) One thing I cant or am unsure of is the latch. That thing breaks and goodbye. That is the only thing holding me back. If I get an answer on Latch durability, I will buy it immediately, recommend it too as a good choice and get another one perhaps Especially the 16" instead of the 20" No offroading now, no crazy stuff! Cheers
