Whats faster, A 04 Mustang GT or 05 Mustang GT?

04 is lighter and much more aerodynamic but the 05 has more power. personally i <3 the 04's body style (i have a 2000 mustang :D) but stock the 05 would probably win

The 05 Mustang GT is noticeably faster than the 04 GT on account of it's more powerful 3 valve 4.6L. If you 91 GT is stock then it's slower than both the 04 GT and the 05 GT.

the 2005 is faster. stock for stock a 2004 will run 14.2 at its best in the 1/4 the 05 will run 13.5 (in them areas) the 04 is lighter and can easier be faster with gears exhaust and a bama tune. i like the 05 ones better. i see to many teen girls in the 99-04 GTs

The 05 GT The 05 GT has 300HP, the 04 only has 260

05 wins..But like comment below depends on driver and suspension plays a major part too. But like the 04 body better.

im gonna go out on a limb and say the 05 mustang GT, if they are both stock, i dont see how a company would produce something slower than the year before, especially if its a GT model meant for performance
