How do I market a great idea?

I have a new idea for a travel technology company - how would I validate the idea/market/etc?

  • This is an innovative idea that does for a particular part of the travel market what AirBnB has done for accommodation or what TaskRabbit has done for odd jobs, but I need to validate the idea and market first.

If you follow the lean methodology, any way to get early feedback is a good way. Do a presentation about your idea, post the concept to any website, build something minimal and try to get some early adopter paying for it.
