Where can I purchase hinge pin kits for the doors on a 1989 Chevy Blazer?

I own a shop, and do a lot of restoration work. I get them from either Advance Auto Parts, or Auto Zone. They will be in the "help" section that carries all kinds of odd parts. What you must pay attention to; is the diameter of the pins. You need to measure the ones in your vehicle in order to get the correct size. They made two different sizes for GM vehicles. The kits come with new pins & bushings, and when you press out the old bushings you may find you have the correct pins, but the bushings you got doesn't fit the hings. I am 100% sure of this, as I replace them probably 3-4 times a years on many GM vehicles. Call a parts store, and ask them what their application chart says, and you will find I am correct. They will tell you to either measure your old ones, or bring them in so they can match them up. Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Any GM dealer (other than Saturn), but they sell the pins, and bushings all separate instead of putting them in a kit. This makes them rather pricey to buy at the dealer. Save some money and go to almost any parts store and they should have or be able to get a kit with all parts in it for about half what the dealer will charge.
