You are going to have to go to a local BMW dealer. NO 2 WAYS ABOUT IT. Take your title & registration and some id with to prove who you are and that you own the car. My dad use to work with a local bmw dealer before going out on his own. He has been working on bmws for 30 + years now. He has to go throuth dealer to get codes!

check the owners manual the old owner might have written in the book somewhere if not remove the radio and get tthe serial number and call the dealer have your vin number ready to prove that you own a bmw
