How to Embed powerpoint in html?

How can I create local links to documents (word, powerpoint, excel) that i can embed in other documents?

• I would like to create a local link to any document (word, powerpoint, excel) that can allow me to embed that link in other documents. for example, when creating a excel sheet for tracking progress, i would like to create a local link to the word doc with notes from meeting and embed that link in excel I am on a MAC- mountain lion

  Under the "Insert" tab click "Hyperlink". You will be directed to a menu. Select "Existing File or Web Page" on the left side of the menu and navigate to the file you wish to link in.
