What is it like to live in Minnesota?

I've grown up in MN and still live here and attend college in it. I like it here, other than when it gets pretty cold in January. My favorite seasons here are fall and summer because it's beautiful up here with the lakes and tons of things to do! I would have to say though the only thing i don't like is winters because they are too long for me. I grew up in suburb outside of the twincities ( Farmington/ Lakeville). I currently am a full time student and work at starbucks on the side. The thing i do like here about taxes is that we do not tax on clothing (nice for Mall of America!), prescriptions and food items (grocery only not fast food). I would say you would like Minnesota if you enjoy season, being outside and the twin cities are awesome! Where were you thinking of moving in MN, because it's pretty different depending where you go? I would recommend the city or a suburb. Hopes this helps Good Luck!
