What can I do to get into a good university?

I'm starting High school in september. What are some things I can do to get into a good university?

  You should definitely join extracurriculars as well as boosting your GPA. Each of these colleges has different requirements (which can bend) which you may be able to find by checking their websites or writing/e-mailing them for information. Anyway, concerning extracurriculars, sports are usually best. Even something like badminton will raise your chances of getting into a college (although it probably won't get you a scholarship). Remember that these schools are expensive, and you'll have to find ways to pay for it as well. Depending on where you live, you could volunteer at: -An Animal Shelter (which is amazing) -A Hospital (which is REALLY cool) -An Old Folks Home (which is fun) -A Zoo (which is also fun) -A Library (which I've never done...I heard it was a bit boring from some and blast from others) -Basically anywhere you can think of It's fool-hearty to chisel your college prospects to only the best schools in the nation, as all colleges are good and will provide you with an excellent education. Base your decision instead on the size of the school you wish to attend, and which area of the country you wish to live in, and, most importantly, what career you wish to pursue.
