What does it take to be admitted to a French university?

Can I take legal action with a private university that admitted it made a mistake with a college application?

    What are your damages? How was he harmed by their mistake? Can you put a dollar amount on the harm? You had no contract--no promise that they were going to let him in. All they really owe you is an apology. You could try and demand that they let him in next year since he was waitlisted this year due to their mistake--but you'd have to wait a year... My advice is to put a deposit down on one of the other schools and move on with all your lives. Good luck.

i agree with the person who said this school is retarded and not worth going to. but, i bet if you made a fuss about how they screwed up and threated to get your lawyer on it, they might cave and just let him in. that is, assuming it's a crappy private school (ie, not stanford).
