    The Village. Central Park. Chinatown. Go to Cha-Cha's in Little Italy for the best desserts. Hogs and Heffers for a great bar. Blue Man group for an awesome un-show show. If you are going at Christmas, you must see 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, FAO Schwarz, St. Pat's Cathedral, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Harlem. Absolutely amazing. Food wise, there's this great cuban joint in SOHO off Mulberry Street. Can't remember the name of it, but incredible food!

Ground Zero in the financial district in lower Manhattan where the World Trade Center once stood. Greenwich Village is an area a few blocks large that has lots of pubs and restaurants. It's near a college > kind of artsy part of town > quasi fag district, but celebrities go there to party. It's near 9th St. and the Avenue of the Americas.

Rockefeller Center, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty are all cool. The shopping is also wonderful! Try Victor's for food, it is great Cuban food, I think near 52nd Street. Have fun!
