Random questions about subs?
-
im getting a pair of polk momo 12" subs. i have a stock stereo in my 09 honda accord. would i need an equalizer or crossover if i get an amp? also what kind of amp will i need? ...show more
-
Answer:
get a mono amp that does 800w...if the subs are single voice coil, then the amp should do no more than 800w @ 2ohm...since you will wire them in parallel. you will not need an EQ or x-over if your amp has it built in...most do. never go by peak or max watts...always by rms or continues...the say 400 so thats where i got 800 for the pair.
