look in the manual. if it says "engage parking brake wire" the n just ground it. if it say "engage then release then engage" then you'll have to install a pulse generator,relay, or switch on the parking brake. i would google the model number with the word parking brake and see what you come up with. good luck

You do not need to hook that wire to watch a movie while driving as long as it is a after market radio. My DVDs play fine in my car while driving without hooking up that wire.
