As a cloud computing service provider for Small to Medium businesses in India (not yet started) what kind of business services can I provide to businesses like restaurants, furniture shops, automobile showrooms, franchise owners?

I want to venture into the cloud computing space. I thought one of the ways to start is by approaching any small, medium and of course big businesses (big meaning whose monthly turnover is in few crores or 10 millions) and those who have a decent IT setup that is are having 3 to 5 systems (atleast) and use them for billing, payrolls and for accounting and taxation. I want to approach these kind of businesses in India and pitch them that look we will take care of all your IT needs and everything will be maintained on cloud and you don't have to invest much on IT like hardware, networking, licenses and others. Everything will be synced in real time and you can check real time reports on your smartphone and tablets. Is this a feasible business? How do I make a start? What else do I need to take into account to do a feasibility check for such a business model. Kindly advise. Thank you. Regards, Pavan.

It is VERY MUCH viable. AND it seems to be the default way of doing things five years from now. I too am looking to build something like this and what I first need to do is build the application (for billing, sales, etc.) and put in in the cloud. We ARE ALREADY USING cloud from last several years in the form of e-mail, facebook, even quora. Would love to see a great MADE IN BHARAT service ! Good Luck !
