What kind of amp would be perfect for my car speakers?

I want to hook up 4 inside car speakers and 2 subwoofers what kind of amp do I need and how many channels?

    5 channel amps are not that hard to find, all the amp companies are making them now. Sonic Electronix will have the best prices on them with a wide selection to choose from. You should get a 4 channel amplifier to provide power to the 4 speakers and another power amplifier to power the 2 sub woofers. The power for the amplifier on the 4 channel amp should be around the 50 watts RMS each. As for the sub woofers, this depends on your taste of music and how much bass you want to hear. Recommend you stay with name brands like: JBL, JL Audio, Infinity, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate and MTX to name a few. This goes for the amps and speakers. Hope this will help you out.

There are very few amps capable of that & they cost more than they should. Get a decent 4 ch amp w/ 50w per ch. Then get a decent class D sub amp w/ about 200w. That's all you should need to get started. Get a power distribution box with separate fuses for each amp for electrical protection.
