What should I pack for a week trip?

Im am going on a one week trip to England next April. Any suggestions on how and what I should pack?

  being from England myself, i know how unpredictable the weather can be, especially in spring. this april, we had boiling days, freezing days, rain, thunder storms, and beautiful sunshine, ahh the joy of british weather. And it really does depend on what kind of trip you are going on, whether it's in the countryside, or in a city. If you are going on a city holiday, i recommend, about 3 pairs of jeans/trousers, a nice dress, a skirt and some leggins, maybe a pair of crops or shorts if you're feeling adventurous, a couple of light jackets, a weeks worth of t-shirts, and a slightly thicker jacket, outfits for any evening events, with just your usual shoes. If going on a countryside holiday, i recommend the above clothing, but with a waterproof jacket and comfortable shoes, or hiking boots to walk in, some wellies, maybe jogging bottoms, or something like that. If you're doing a lot of walking wear clothes that you don't mind if you get muddy, or get wrecked. If you're gonna hit the beach, you're obviously going to need your bikini or what ever you wear to swim in. I'd advise taking maps if you've never been before. Take a camera, England is a beautiful place. It may or may not be hot and sunny, so just be prepared by taking sun lotion, sunglasses and a mini fan. You probably won't need bugspray. Also, if you are taking anything electrical, you'll need a socket extension- sockets and plugs are different in England to the way they are in America. I hope this helps P.S.
