How do I block email addresses on Yahoo without reporting them as spam and/or without pressing the spam button

    Go ahead and 'Unsubcribe' / hit the 'spam' button / block them, if they are a professional organization it will be fine. If they are threatening criminal charges, they are not professional and should be blocked and reported to those anti-spam organizations. You can change your mind and unsubcribe to any emails, this is why they give you the choice to, if they don't its not an organization you should be dealing with.

This is getting a little ridiculous. You are not breaking the law by sending mail to spam, they are breaking the law by spamming your mailbox with unsolicited mail. You are not making a false accusation, because you can't actually contact the spammers. You can't find them, believe me, you have neither the time nor the money to do that. If your time is that valuable, just press the spam button and go on about your business. If you accidentally put a message into spam that you now want the address back, go into your blocked address list and remove it. You are making a much better deal out of this than it needs to be. We all get spam.

Click "Options" on the upper right -- it will take you to a page where you can just block the address by typing it in.
