How can I verify my new email address when yahoo says I'm logged into another account?

    I am also having the same exact problem. I am trying to verify an alternate email on my existing yahoo account and get the message when I click on the verification email link. "Oops, looks like you're logged into another account" Yahoo help online was of no help. I called customer service and they were also of no help directing me from one department to another and finally they said email online help. I am not sure what to do at this point. My guess is that this is a bug that yahoo needs to fix.

That is so annoying and it happened to me when I made a new acct it took me ages to figure it out, You gave a alternate email address when making the new acct the verification email is sent to the alternate address sign into that address, click the verification link and sign in to the new email address you've made when your asked, not the alternate email address. confusing I know but it's a confusing way to get people to verify, I hope this helps it's how I got it to work for me.
